Hi, I’m Pooja Ummat, the founder of Shaira.

Before starting Shaira, I spent years working in the corporate world balancing deadlines, pressure, long workdays, and the constant rush of everyday life. Somewhere in between all of that, jewelry became my little form of self expression. It was one of those small things that could instantly make me feel more confident, put together, and like myself even on the busiest days.

But every time I ordered jewelry online, something felt disappointing. Pieces would fade too quickly, arrive poorly packaged, irritate the skin, or look completely different from the pictures. I wanted jewelry that looked beautiful, felt comfortable to wear, lasted longer, and still felt affordable enough for everyday life.

That frustration slowly turned into an idea.

So I decided to take a chance on myself and create the kind of jewelry brand I had always been searching for.
